Half bandaged - Bendate a metà

Usually I fully cover my Peps'n'Dolls with bandages, due to show how difficult can be when we try to express ourselves while having no chance to talk.

But this time I preferred to give them the possibility to show their faces.

Anyway, I gave them no eyes... or no mouth, or no ears.

That's because sometimes we are just to shy to talk, or too respecful to watch, or too scared to listen.

These two sculptures represent a couple of friend: Jasmin and Andrea.

I took inspiration from a book I'm writing (don't worry I will need years and years to finish it!!!!). In my story they look complitely different... and they can talk.

But in this sculpture version, they are forced to use alternative methods to communicate. They will be able to understand eachother thanks to their open hearts.

In genere ricopro totalmente le mie Peps'n'Dolls con bende, per dimostrare quanto difficile possa essere esprimere noi stessi non avendo la possibilità di parlare.

Ma stavolta ho preferito dare loro l'occasione di mostrare il proprio viso.

Ad ogni modo, non gli ho dato gli occhi...o la bocca... o le orecchie.

Questo perché talvolta siamo troppo timidi per parlare, troppo rispettosi per guardare, o troppo spaventati per ascoltare.

Queste due sculture rappresentano una coppia di amici: Jasmin e Andrea. Ho tratto ispirazione da un libro che sto scrivendo (non preoccupatevi, mi ci vorranno anni ed anni per finirlo!!!!). Nella mia storia però, i due protagonisti hanno un aspetto molto diverso da questo... e possono parlare.

In versione scultura, invece, sono costretti ad usare metodi alternativi per poter comunicare. Si comprenderanno l'un l'altra grazie al loro grande cuore.
