Introduction. Presentazione.
Hi everybody,
my name is Laura Finotto and "Pepel" is my nickname and the signature I use on all my creations.
When people ask me what do I do, I use to say that I work on recycling materials.
I take waste products, old things that people don't use anymore, left over pieces of some manifacturing and I use tham to create something new. Otherwise I renovate them.
But my real passion is art. Every kind of art.
I love drawing and I can give up sleeping to give birth to a new character, a new vignette, a new little word of paper and ink.
I use to draw with my pen, and I do it everywhere,
Music is my lady of the court. Without her there is too nois around and every activity get hard.
I like all the arts I can't practice because of my attitude, like acting or dancing which need you to "let yourself go".
One day, while I was drawing, I understood that the only job I want to do in my life is the artist.
So I left my old job and...
And here I am. Writing this blog where I will post all the steps of my route to the goal.
And my goal is... switching this passion in my new job!

mi chiamo Laura Finotto e "Pepel" è il mio soprannome, nonchè la firma che appongo ad ogni mia creazione.
Quando mi chiedono cosa faccio per vivere, rispondo che mi occupo di riciclo materiali.
Uso scarti di produzione, vecchi oggetti non più utili al proprio scopo, avanzi di lavorazione e li trasformo in qualcosa di nuovo, oppure do loro un aspetto più moderno.
Ma la mia vera passione è l'arte. In tutte le sue forme.
Adoro disegnare e potrei rinunciare al sonno pur di dar vira ad un nuovo personaggio, ad una nuova vignetta, ad un nuovo piccolo mondo di carta ed inchiostro.
Disegno a penna e lo faccio ovunque.
La musica è la mia dama di compagnia, senza di lei c'è troppo rumore ed ogni attività diventa un peso.
Amo le arti che per indole non sono in grado di fare mie, come la recitazione o la danza che richiedono il "lasciarsi andare".
Un giorno, mentre disegnavo, mi sono resa conto che l'unico lavoro che avrei potuto svolgere nella mia vita era quello dell'artista.
Ho lasciato il mio vecchio lavoro e...
Ed eccomi qui. A scrivere questo blog nel quale pubblicherò passo per passo tutti gli step del mio percorso verso la meta.
La meta sarà raggiunta quando la mia passione sarà diventata un mestiere.
